E-Guide Services, Inc. (EGS) is the leading provider of high performance and fully customizable electronic program guides. Delivering accurate and up-to-date TV listings content along with targeted advertising,
we bring a dynamic experience to television. EGS is the developer of E-GuideTV, a real-time customized television guide channel. E-GuideTV is currently positioned in hotels, casinos, universities and hospitals
as an added service to their guests. Although electronic program guides (EPGs) are not a new technology, very few providers have offered or been able
to offer this amenity to these industries. EGS is one of the first providers of EPGs to have success in installing and providing this service to these industries absolutely free-of-charge through the
sale of advertising.
The E-GuideTV Value
E-GuideTV, our high-performance and fully customized television channel guide, proudly serves the hospitality industry as well as other secondary markets with information-rich television and programming
content not present in these markets. This state-of-the-art and fully-automated television channel guide also allows national, regional and local advertisers to reach a captive and engaged audience through
a revolutionary advertising platform, providing a new way for advertisers to reach highly-valued and segmented demographic audiences on an industry-by-industry basis.
- Currently, we are installed in over 400 properties across more than 87,600 rooms and expect to triple our growth in 2010. (Contracts are in place for
over 1,800 properties)
- At present, E-GuideTV reaches more than 2.1 million travelers monthly and is expected to triple its growth to more than 6.2 million viewers by year-end.
- Today, we are offering a single advertiser at least 60 million opportunities-to-view, per month and expect to triple that number to 187 million by year-end 2010.
- E-GuideTV allows for advertisers to brand their message on four different adZones:
adView (commercial with video and audio), adBoard (digital billboard), adBanner (digital
signage at the top of the scrolling listings), and adText (text messages).
- E-GuideTV enables advertisers to target by DMA, city, state, region, property type, room rate, individual property, flagship, and more, giving them maximum flexibility for their buys.
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:
- Minimum of 3 years B2B outside advertising sales experience
- Top performer (110%+ and can prove it)
- Valid drivers license
- Excellent communicator
- Sales finesse for cold calling & account retention
- Experience in a highly competitive sales position
- Stable career history
- Ability to communicate in writing and orally in a professional manner
- Self-driven and motivated
- Must be able to meet or exceed sales quotas and goals
- Must be able to work well under pressure in an unsupervised environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills exuding professional behavior at all times
- Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Computer skills using other software applications a plus
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Meeting and exceeding revenue and product goals
- Satisfying clients advertising needs
- Prospecting for new accounts
- Creating schedules, preparing layouts, budgeting
- Attending to all details required in the sales and service of existing accounts
- Schedule visits to potential advertisers by contacting people and making appointments as well as cold calls
- Work with sales and marketing personnel to establish successful methods of promoting products
- Understand customer’s needs and negotiate term accordingly, explain and demonstrate products to them, which may involve technical descriptions of products and the way they may be used
- Prepare contracts and record orders
- Report sales progress and provide feedback on the marketing of new or established products
- Carry out formal presentations of products using projectors and other training aids, attend conferences and organize product displays
- Establish and maintain sales targets and budgets
- Generate sales leads
- Develop and maintain relationships with current and prospective clients
- Gain visibility to market outside EGS which may require travel
- Make presentations to Hotel Executives and Managers
- Develop and maintain relationships with hotel personnel and property managers
- Attends trade shows on an as-needed basis
